Visitors Book

We have really enjoyed staying in such a beautiful and peaceful location.  Thanks for the lovely accommodation.  Mia and Tom loved their bedroom, particularly the soft toys and most of all loved Honey (the dog).  We recommend visiting the caves at Castleton  and cycling on the Tissington Trail.

We hope very much to come back one day.

We had fun, we drank booze.

Braving bitter winter gales.

Couldn’t ask for more home comforts.  We walked for six hours through lovely countryside with outstanding views. Amazing accommodation- loved the beams and the stone!

Our first international visitors.
A nice landscape- many fine walks - too much to see in 2 weeks and only 4 days of bad weather. Thanks for your kindness from your first German visitors.

A beautiful little hideaway in the valley.  We ( 8 of us) had the most chilled out and relaxing time away from the stresses of busy lives. Thank you for the wine and cheese- a lovely touch. We would love to come back in the summer.  Thanks for providing a home from home.
    Debbie and pals

With 8 adults and 6 children and 2 guinea pigs, we shattered your peace and still you were kind, pleasant and caring and extremely helpful. We loved the place, the walks and the wildlife, with bats and birds nesting just by us.  Had a great reunion with friends. Elizabeth thanks you for the loan of your special Ted for her visit to the hospital Thanks again.

Flowers, flowers everywhere people always stop and stare.
The pitter patter of the rain makes the flowers bloom again.
