Thank you for a lovely stay at Dove Valley Centre celebrating Betty's 80th birthday. We couldn't have chosen a better place & even the weather behaved itself on Sunday so that we were able to sit out & enjoy the beautiful views & idyllic outside space.

Alfred (aged 4) said it was the "best day ever!".

A reunion of friends - from Suffolk, London, Bucks & Staffs. A perfect place to relax, to walk, with fun & games too. Table tennis 'tournament' has yet to be decided!

Very well equipped & a lovely welcome with a delicious cake & a bunch of snowdrops. This was our belated New Year gathering, a lovely place to spend the dark days of winter.

Christmas 2015

What a great place to stay over Christmas. Plenty of room for the whole family. Thank you very much for your warm welcome & kindness. As we came here 4 years ago we were convinced this would be the perfect venue to spend Christmas & we were right! Jenna (age 10). The best ever holiday!

Again a fantastic break after a 4 year gap (why so long?). The peace & ambience, scenery & dry-stone walls all add to the real beauty of the English countryside. Happy New Year from us all. Greg Pauline & the family

October 2015

Family half term break (Our first with a dog & our first in the Peak District).

After walking all day we could not have come back to a better place to rest, play games, enjoy the fire & have supper. A PERFECT retreat! Thanks.

Well, we've had a lovely week, very lucky with the weather. Loved the lemon cake, the Shippon, the views, the fields. Hired bikes to cycle Manifold trail, walked from here to Hartington (beautiful walk) & went to Ilam park, Dovedale - worth a visit to the stepping stones.

Thank you so much for providing such a comfortable place to stay.

The Rowans, incl. Kazz the dog - who was in her element!

Our memories.....

Last night, there was a blue moon which complimented the perfect evening in the idyllic Dove Valley. Following a wonderful walk through Wetton & the magical Manifold river which disappeared out of our sight, we ventured back to Under Whitle farm through some of the most picturesque scenery we had ever experienced.

Whilst relaxing around the smouldering fire pit, listening to the sounds of the evening, the echoes of laughter ricochetted throughout the valley.

This is our 12th visit to Dove Valley Centre & each visit provides us with new memories. We can't thank them enough.

Weekend of March 27th 2015

We could not recommend the accommodation highly enough. The standard of the barns is exceptional, with so many thoughtful touches ensuring you have everything you need for a relaxing break.

We stayed as a group of girls & enjoyed river rafting in Matlock & a night out in Buxton, though to be honest we would have been perfectly happy staying in with the lovely fire-pit, bbq & stunning views of the countryside. Thanks for a brilliant stay at very reasonable prices - we will certainly be returning in the future

My 70th Birthday!

Celebrations come naturally to this magic valley............

The weather joined in and provided sunshine, huge downpours of rain, hail & a splendid rainbow to top it all!!

Feeling blessed and so glad I chose to gather together here.

A BIG thank you

A Wonderful restorative breathing space, & very lovely to be here again. I love it. Had some walks in the wild wind; cooked deliciously in the well-equipped kitchen; read in front of the log-burner & re-learned backgammon! Many thanks, Laura & Marian from York x
